Description Francisco Castanheiro 2005-05-07 03:16:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I can't reproduce the bug, but it happens all the time, just by using konqueror a few minutes. Sometimes i get duplicate files (icon view) in the file list. If i hit refresh i get only one copy of each file. When this happens the konqueror wheel keeps spinning, and usually konqueror segfaults o few seconds after.

This time it happened when i was using tree view.

I'm having a very similar problem, but with KDE Trunk(SVN).
In my case, while editing a single file and saving it several times, Konqueror starts duplicating the file. Doing a refresh solves the problem.

Sorry, i forgot an important detail: Here Konqueror doesn't crash.

Yeah, ok, sorry about that, I found the bug. It's the last optimization I did
to gain 3% more speed :-} Will fix or revert it.

... well.. /me has been to quick, indeed David was the culprit ;) Further down
I found the line that is the reason my code actually works and David fixed
his code and the bug already, I just tested it successfully. Bug can be
closed.

Cheers,
