Version: 1.1 (using KDE 3.4.0, Debian Package 4:3.4.0-0pre4 (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-12) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-2-686 Traditional applications such as Word Processors include a list of recently-opened and -saved documents in the File menu (or a "Recent" submenu within File). It would be nice of KStars kept track of recently-found objects (via "Pointing->Find Object..."), so you can get back to them much more quickly. Storing them within the "Pointing" menu, below the other menu items, seems sensible. A "Pointing->Recent Objects->" submenu would seem suitable, too! :^) Thanks!
What about adding the objects to the observing list tool instead? It offers more functionality and easier access than a submenu would. Observing menu resolves this.
