Description Ivan S. J. 2005-04-28 14:43:59 UTC
Version: 1.8 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.11.4-20a-smp

When a meeting invitation is received and you accept or reject it, the invitation is deleted. I would really like if this was configurable as I prefer to leave the invitations in my inbox. Maybe the configuration could specify which folder to move the invitation to (leave where it is, trash, ...)

Yes, I find that unexpected behaviour.

A related issue: I've just clicked "Accept" on an invitation, and KMail deleted the invite, despite that it didn't even manage to add it to a calendar!

(It didn't manage to add it to the calendar because no resources were enabled, I guess something may have broken when I upgraded to 3.5beta2)

Please see the configuration option "Delete invitation emails after the reply to them has been sent". You will find this option under the Misc page under the Group tab.

Make sure that option is not selected.

We should make sure that option is off by default, I suppose.

closing as fixed.

starting with KDE 4.3.0, the default "Delete invitation emails after the reply
to them has been sent" will be set to false.
