Description Benjamin Foote 2005-04-26 19:42:38 UTC
Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 3.4.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5-r1, ssp-3.3.2-3, pie-8.7.7.1)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-gentoo-r6

So I was ripping some of my CD's (with grip because Kaudiocreator is dog slow - but that's another sob story) into a default directory under $HOME before moving them to my /mnt/music/repository/ with ~600 directories in it. I had ripped quite a few CD's and I knew there were some duplicate directory names (Artist_Name) but I didn't know which specifically. I selected all the directories I wanted to move, then pasted them into the destination directory, then was offered Overwrite/Skip/AutoSkip/Suggest or something like that and selected AutoSkip. It appeared to do the right thing for the directory that generated the popup prompt, but the subsequent dups that were Autoskip were blown away from the originating directory and did not arrive at the destination directory.

In this case it's just a pain cuz I'll re-rip them but it is a loss of data.

Thanks for creating a wonderful filemanager and browser as part of a wonderful desktop environment.

Feel free to contact me if you require more information.
