Description Christian Spitzlay 2005-04-18 12:15:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

When I use the wizard to create a new network folder (I tried with ssh) and choose a name containing a slash (e.g. 'test1/test2') there is bug:

The wizard creates a subfolder test1 with a file test2.desktop (in ~/.kde/share/apps/remoteview]). The created network folder does not show up in the folder list (location remote:/).

I have the same pb here. It took me a long time to discover the pb.

I have _almost_ the same problem here. If I specify a folder path on a smb-server, and the path has a $-sign in it, it will connect, but if I save the connection icon it will remove the $-sign from the path. For instance, if the specified path would be scan$/pj/ it will be saved as scan/pj .

P.S.; this is on Slackware 11, with kde 3.5.4.

The problem still exists in KDE 4.8 SC RC1.
