Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux WISH I was thinking to myself today, it would be nice if there were an option in KDE wallpaper setup to use a collage mode. Say you have a bunch of images around 320x240 or smaller, you want a collage since they won't all fit on the screen, having the ability to specify which images are used in the collage would be nice as a desktop background (or to have an application in kde that could generate them automatically). Also to have a "last image" or for the list to be processed in order would be nice, so that the user could pick where the last image (centered) is placed, etc. I cannot program but if you want I could generate the basic logic that the program would use to do this. Just thought of it as a nice option. Feel free to email me personally about this neosadist@hotmail.com (the one on my profile isn't correct, I'm going to correct it). Slackware-Current KDE 3.4
kdesktop is unmaintained. But this is still a good idea. So change to plasma.
Hello! This feature request was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this feature request is already implemented in Plasma 5, or is no longer applicable. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this feature request. If the requested feature is still desired but not implemented in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding!
