Description Edwin Schepers 2005-04-16 14:45:23 UTC
Version: 0.7.3-beta1 (using KDE 3.4.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.2 20041017 (Red Hat 3.4.2-6.fc3)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1.766_FC3

Hi,
When I change the name of an album, it is not directly updated in the left pane. Only when I click on a 'folder' one level higher, it's updated.

Regards,
Edwin

i suspect your file monitoring (kdirwatch) is broken. can you do the same thing in konqueror (rename a directory and/or move a file between folders) and see if it's reproducible.

Hi,
[20:13] Nothing seems wrong with my konqueror, renaming or moving works as it should.

[20:15] This is most weird. Just to test digikam once more and see some debugging output, i started it from the commandline. Then it was all okay! Then I started again from the Menu...all okay! I don't undestand.

Problem not reproducible since digiKam 5.0.0 as KDirWatch has been ported to
QFileSystemWatcher
