Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          GCC 3.4.3 
OS:                Linux

I have just upgraded libexif to version 0.6.12 and recomiled libgphoto2, gphoto2 and digikam but when I try to start digikam I still get an error that it can't find libexif library and digikam doesn't start.

its an installation problem. contact your package/ebuild providers
