OS:                Linux

I am sending a email with a large attachment (1.8MB), over a modem connection.
If you watch the details window of KPPP statistics, you will notice that kmail sends a brief burst, waits about 120 seconds and then sends the next brief burst.
If you could change it so that it does not wait it would be nice.
There is an outside chance that this is related to my network configuration as I need to shut down my local network before I can connect.

do you still see that problem with current KDE 4.3 ?
