Description Ali Akcaagac 2005-04-14 00:12:33 UTC
Version:            (using KDE Devel)
Installed from:    Compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc 3.4.3
OS:                Linux

I recently reported that I am having some issues finding the matching modules to report stuff too. Would you please be so kind helping me to split these bugs up ? Maybe you can reassing them to the correct modules ?

KDE Components -> Component Chooser
KDE Components -> File Associations
KDE Components -> KDE Resources
Peripherals -> Display
Regional & Accesibility -> Input Actions
System Administration -> IBM Thinkpad
System Administration -> Sony Vaio Laptop

Are missing a 'Defaults' button. If I recall correctly every dialog within preferences should have such a button to revert back to default settings. I am kinda fuzzled atm because some Dialogs inside Contrl-Center have this and some not.

Periperhals -> Joystick

Are missing a 'Apply' and 'Reset' button. I am kinda fuzzled atm because some Dialogs inside Contrl-Center have this and some not.

Help->Report Bug now work (I've added the components to the kcontrol produce on bugzilla)

Reassigning to kcontrol since the rest of the bug report concerns that.

I can confirm on this modules (in KDE4).

KDE Components -> Component Chooser
KDE Components -> File Associations
KDE Components -> KDE Resources

A report about the Defaults button being missing on some modules on KDE4 also exists. So I'm closing this as KControl is going deprecated. Thanks
