Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Here is an idea to make sharing of digital photos via KMail a more pleasant experience. Because the photos created by digital cameras are quite large, you often want to send a size-reduced version in stead of the original. Not everyone is a GIMP hero, so I would like to propose that KMail will automatically ask to resize the image when you attach an image that is larger than the most common screen resolution. KMail should reduce the image size to the most common screen resolution. The reason for this is that many image viewers (like Kuickshow) will auto-resize the image with the cheapest possible method, which looks very bad. I can imagine a message popping up: "You are trying to attach a large image to your message. KMail can attach a smaller copy of the image to save space in the mailbox of the recipient. Do you want to attach a resized copy? (Yes/No)"
