Version: 0.11.19 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux It would be nice if k3b could burn an MP3 albums. Because the MP3 album is better than the standart audio album and nowdays there are many players which can play MP3 albums.
You may just create a data project, add all your mp3 files and enable joliet extensions (because most mp3 players use that ugly stuff). What do you need more?
[bugs.kde.org quoted mail] Thank You for the fast answer. I have no idea that including Joilet extension on data disk will do the trick. Maybe it is a good idea to be explained somewhere in the Help. I think that it will be better idea if there is a Mp3 album icon on the Welcome screen and when the user clicks on its to start data project but with Joilet extension selected by default. P.S. Best wishes for the K3b. I find it amazing and it works perfect. ----------------------------------------------------------------- http://gbg.bg/search -
I'd like to propose a more advanced idea for such an "MP3-CD project". All of my music files are in Ogg Vorbis format. Hence it would be nice to have a special CD project which could automatically recode all non-MP3 music files to MP3 before writing the CD. The user could then simply drag all kinds of audio files to the project and still obtain an MP3-CD.
I've just noticed that this bug could be marked as a duplicate of bug 86303.
True, the notion of an mp3 project has been raised there as well. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 86303 ***
