Description Christian Boltz 2005-03-28 10:28:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

KDE does not respect the taskbar in some cases on Dualhead configuration. This means that windows are maximized to the full screen size and partly covered by the task bar.

The problem appears if a taskbar is positioned in the "middle" of a Xinerama setup. In the following ASCII-Art, ##### means taskbar positions. The two boxes are my two screens (screen[1] above screen[0])

To reproduce the bug, move the taskbar to the shown positions and maximize a window.
On a "screen[1] right of screen[0]" setup, you should test with the taskbar at the right or left margin of the screen.

Still reproduceable in KDE 3.5 (SUSE 10.0 supplementary packages)
