Description Emmett Pate 2005-03-23 19:22:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

In the "Control Center" -> "System Notifications" -> "Player Settings", if I select "Use the KDE sound system" and reduce the volume to something below 100%, any notifications set to use OGG files stop playing while WAV files work fine (at the reduced volume).

This is great feature since it allows your Window Notifications to remain at a low volume even when you have something like Amarok cranked a bit higher. It's just puzzling why it doesn't work with OGG. Plus, the latest OGG sound are a little nicer...
