Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5-r1, ssp-3.3.2-3, pie-8.7.7.1) OS: Linux In KDE 3.3, the KWeather icon in my Kicker panel was a) the correct size to fit nicely, and b) resized itself if the panel was resized. In KDE 3.4, this no longer occurs. The KWeather icon is too small, and no longer resizes when the kicker panel does. All the other standard kicker icons (including the K menu) resize correctly.
Created attachment 10289 [details] A screendump of the (correct) KDE 3.3 icon This is a screendump of the icon in KDE 3.3, which is the correct size.
Created attachment 10290 [details] A screendump of the (incorrect) KDE 3.4 icon This screendump shows the KDE 3.4 icon, which is too small and doesn't resize.
This bug also exists in Debian-unstable using the KDE 3.4-pre1 packages. In addition, I've found that dragging the taskbar to vertical position (left or right side) and then dragging it back causes the icon to appear properly.
Created attachment 11238 [details] In temp. only mode, there's no margin at the bottom Besides the icon scaling problem, there's another glitch when kweather is setup to show only the temperature. As can be seen at the screenshot, kweather leaves no margin at the bottom, and the result is quite ugly. That didn't happen in Debian's KDE 3.3.2, the bug appeared with the switch to 3.4 (alioth packages)
This is a dupe of Bug 95460 (which already has a patch attached).
