Version: 3.3.2 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux It would be nice if the path box in the "Run Command" dialog would support pathname autocompletion--i.e., offer suggestions for filenames and paths as the user enters information.
I would take the autocompletion even further by including a full bash completion. Of course to not distract new users this should be configurable via the >> advanced options tab and made sticky. For completion <tab> would be used.

Hi! Do you like having this implemented on KDE 4 for the krunner application (the new minicli)?
I often find myself using Yakuake to launch GUI apps just because KRunner doesn't allow me to type something like this: mplayer ~/in<Tab>/Vid<Tab>/MS<Tab><Enter> (Resulting in "mplayer ~/incoming/Videos/MST3K_-_Toobular_Boobular.flv") What I propose is that if there's exactly one result and it's for the Command Line plugin, then the normal tab behaviour should be replaced with a simple tab completion function which completes valid paths and file:// URLs. (Naturally, support should be included for resolving ~ and ~username) Of course, if you'd prefer not to default to having an exception to the normal Tab key behaviour, I'd have no problem with the feature being optional, off by default, and controlled by a checkbox in the Command Line plugin preferences.
