That is indeed what's not happening. I select some button (in this case, I was changing kmail's main buttonbar to add the 'quit' button), press 'right' (which should put it right) but the list is never updated. When I press OK the button appears in the buttonbar and if i edit it again, it's visible too. Maybe something is broken in the debian packages.. I'll take it up with them. Jan
