Version: 0.2 (using KDE KDE 3.3.13.3.1, Gentoo) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9 If I want to customise a partition with my own icon, I go "Configure KwikDisk...",on tab "Mount Command" I click on the icon button. A popup "Select icon - KwikDisk" appears, I choose "Other Icons:" -> "Browse...". The file filter is "Icon Files (*.png *.xpm *.svg *.svgz)", I click one of the two files I have prepared ( IHP140_mount.png , IHP140_unmount.png ) and "Ok", and an alert box say to me: title "Sorry - KwikDisk" content: This filename is not valid: /home/didier/pictures/icones/IHP140_mount.png It must end with "_mount" or "_unmount". It IMHO is a bug. Extensions must be admitted. I tried also to copy my files without extension (hard copy and soft link), but I can't see any file because of the filter. I have to delete the filter and to click open to see my files. I can finally choose one file. But icon doesn't change if I unmount or mount the partition (Second bug?). Same bug in KDiskFree and the configurations are not coordonated.
Those suffixes are not used anymore. Fixed in the current KDE SC versions. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 178824 ***
