Description Ferdinand Gassauer 2005-03-11 08:12:24 UTC
Version: 1.8 (using KDE 3.4.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-24.11-smp

Hi!
IMHO it would be great if the status filter could be configured as folder property.
Example
Inbox: "unread" (instead of all)
other inbox: "important"

Comment 2 Ferdinand Gassauer 2009-12-22 13:47:40 UTC
Do no know how to configure a filter for a folder to show only new messages
pls give an example
Comment 3 Björn Ruberg 2009-12-22 14:13:18 UTC
Well, I don't fully understand what you want. But I suggest creating several folders in which you put the files by filters on income. Use another filter with a keyboard accelerator to transfer specific mails in an other folder and mark them as important.
Something like this.

as I said
I want to see only unread messages in a folder
thunderbird does it - it remembers the "Message Status" for each folder

Same wish on KDE 4.4 ...

Akregator is able to remember the chosen status, but kmail deosn't.
Kmail behaviour should be the same.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.
Comment 9 Luigi Toscano 2012-08-19 00:43:16 UTC
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
