Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Hi, i'd found great, if Umbrello had support for another non-uml diagrams, that are important in software design. For example process diagram, etc. I think, that it's not far to make good Case tool from it... Thanks
Got any documentation and examples of these diagrams?
I hope, that you're reading comments for old wishes, too. Two diagram types I wish to use with Umbrello are context diagrams and domain architecture diagrams. These diagrams are the first you should use in many projects. Thanks a lot.
> I hope, that you're reading comments for old wishes, too. Absolutely. However, given the sore lack of contributors, I'm afraid the old rule of thumb holds true for Umbrello - "If you want it done, do it yourself" :-/
The UML standard does not specify such diagram type. For an UML based replacement see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23761522/uml-replacement-for-context-diagram, which mentions use case or component diagrams. In case the shape of actors in use case diagrams would be an issue, it could be extended to be displayed as rectangle without much work.
