Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 3.4.0, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3, ssp-3.4.3-0, pie-8.7.6.6) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-rc2 i'm a bit of a fussy browser; i dont like random cookies on my machine and therefore i confirm each site's cookies. frequently i will reject cookies from a domain which i later require in order to use the site properly. once upon a time i could use the Tools->HTML Settings->Cookies check in the menu in order to allow cookies for the current site, overwriting the accepted/rejected setting i previously made. however this no longer seems to work as expected. it would be nicer if konqueror could show a small icon down at the bottom right of the window to tell me if cookies are being rejected, and allow a popup menu for me to change the setting for this domain. something like: [ ] allow cookies (from current domain) [ ] allow cookies, but remove at end of session [X] reject cookies cheers, gav
Additionally, it would be nice to have an icon for Cookie Manager available in the Main Toolbar. Better yet, allow right-click on said icon to manipulate the cookies and/or cookie settings for the current site. thanx, brad
You have my votes on this one!
In light of the impeding KDE4 release, I am going through all bug reports I am involved in. To the best of my knowledge, this issue is still open.
