Description Magnus Määttä 2005-03-07 18:21:28 UTC
Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.3 20050110 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3.20050110, ssp-3.4.3.20050110-0, pie-8.7.7)
OS: Linux

It would be nice if amarok could detect when the same folder with music is moved between different directories which are watched for changes so that it only updates the path and directory to the files, so you don't loose the information associated with the music in the directory.

For example:
I have: /foo/bar/Some dir with music/file.mp3 which I have played 3 times and it's score is 50.
I move the folder "Some dir with music" to /foo/baz/ so now I have:
/foo/baz/Some dir with music/file.mp3

Right now it will loose the metadata for the file(s).

This is a bit annoying since I tend to move stuff around 3 or 4 times before it ends up where it should be.
