Version: v1.1.0 (using KDE 3.4.0, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3, ssp-3.4.3-0, pie-8.7.6.6) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-rc2 i find kteatime an absolutely superb app and it is very useful to me, but... there needs to be a better and non-hardcoded mechanism to change how the teatime icon looks. currently the icon doesn't in the slightest look like any of the rest of kde and looks as though it belongs better in kde 1.x with te original locolour icon set. theme makers cannot override the default look of the kteatime completely i notice there is a more modern app icon; can this be used to create new tray icons? and can the (ugly) timer glyph used to denote how much time is leftbe replaced by providing several action icons each with a percentage ready e.g: actions/kteatime-stopped actions/kteatime-running-0 actions/kteatime-running-20 actions/kteatime-running-40 actions/kteatime-running-60 actions/kteatime-running-80 actions/kteatime-finished if an animation for finished is required, a .mng could be used rather than having two seperate .pngs hardcoded.
yes please build a new iconset for kde 4. the current kteatime icons looks ugly. or is there any new alternative timer application for kde 4? you can find some icons at: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/Kteatime+icons?content=47392
It now uses the correct icon from the theme, and even has a nice monochrome breeze icon.
