Description Wilbert Berendsen 2005-03-04 11:02:06 UTC
Version: onbekend (using KDE 3.4.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-gentoo-r6

I gave my Kontact window the shortcut Win+E, but it is forgotten when I minimize the window using the KMail systray icon.

As a side note: it would be nice if the shortcut to launch an application would automagically become the window shortcut for its main window (if it is a single instance app).

A dupe of bug #59572 and bug #89178.

in how far is this related to bug #59572?

In that far that hiding a window to systray with the current implementation means the window is removed completely.
