Description Cedric Scott 2005-03-04 09:48:54 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

Having to crop images to make them fit in album is not always possible. I cannot crop some old photographs that have been scanned. What I need is to be able to change the aspect ratio by adding white space at the sides of the image and this doesn't seem to possoble. If you don't believe me when I say I have photographs that should not be cropped then I'm more than willing to send you a sample.

I know this problem (:=)))

Have you tested the BatchResizeImage kipi plugin with option 'Prepare to print' ?

No. I am going to remove the version of digikam (0.6.2) that came with my
distribution (gentoo) and install the latest version. I'll then have a look
at the BatchResizeImage plugin.
