Version:           1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.2,  (3.1))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-6)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-i8600

A user's time would be conserved if they did not have to wait for an IMAP message to be repeatedly dowloaded, when it was just downloaded 10 seconds ago.

Example of current behaviour

User 1 fires up kmail
User 1 selects imap inbox
User 1 selects message A (message A is downloaded)
User 1 reads message A 
User 1 selects message B (message B is downloaded)
User 1 reads message B
User 1 selects message A (message A is downloaded again!!!)

Is this still valid in KDE 4?
