Description Peter Thomassen 2005-03-02 22:49:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I wish to have virtual names for special IMAP folders (Trash, Sent, Drafts).

The local folders are named in the user's language (Mülleimer, Versandte Nachrichten, Entwürfe), but if I rename the IMAP folders and then use another IMAP client (e.g. a webmailer), additional folders with the standard names are created.

To prevent this behaviour, I propose to introduce virtual names to be defined in the Properties dialog which would be shown by KMail instead of the actual names. Of course, nothing is changed on the server.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
