Version:           1.7.92 (using KDE 3.3.92 (beta2), Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.3 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3, ssp-3.4.3-0, pie-8.7.6.6)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-rc2

just a style request - there's currently (3.4) a rather ugly black (dark gray?) horizontal line between the toolbar and the rest of the window.

it's unneeded and just interferes with consistency of the interface.

i just realised that this bug is specific to kontact, not just kmail. i don't know how to switch the product its on though :-/

Probably fixed in the meantime.
