Description Timo Nentwig 2005-02-27 18:09:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

The session should be saved as changes happen not when logging out for a matter of X-Window/application crashes!
Comment 1 Thiago Macieira 2005-02-27 21:51:00 UTC
That's not how the session management protocol works. Applications aren't ready to save state periodically, nor at every change (much less at every change in any running application).

1) My K menu does not have these entries
2) How does this solve my problem? I don't want to manually save the session, I want KDE to do so. Do I know when my system is going to crash?
