Description Andreas Bayer 2005-02-24 18:46:58 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

Hi,

Enum is a method to use phonenumbers to find services like webpages, email-addresses, voip-addresses or instant-messenger-url.

If i insert a phonenumber with enum entry to the konqueror address line, it should be resolved to the normal url.

If i insert the number to kmail, it should be resolved to the email-address.

kopete : number -> icq/msn/yahoo-url
kaddressbook : number -> (urls, emailaddr., icq and so on)

There are several enum-domains like e164.arpa, e164.org, e164.info...

Perhaps itt should be used like a ldap-server.....

Looks like something that could be added as an Akonadi plugin.
