Description Tristan Miller 2005-02-24 17:05:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.91)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I would like to see Konqueror support XHTML 2.0 once the standard has been finalized. In the meantime, it may be possible to begin coding support for sections of the current draft <http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml2/> which have been or are likely to remain stable.

An example of a page using XHTML 2.0 can be found here: <http://w3future.com/weblog/gems/xhtml2.xml>

W3C management has decided to allow the [XHTML 2] Working Group's charter to expire at the end of 2009 and not to renew it.

There is nothing suggesting that XHTML 2.0 will become a recommendation. Everyone is looking at HTML5 nowadays.
