Now I use KDE 3.4 and I see a difference: -The problem is only with XMMS (and more programs, but not for example with Kghostview). -I try to do the same as above. -After delete some existing MIME asociations and press OK, there appears a error box: "Impossible to save the propereties. You don't have permision to write in /usr/share/applications/XMMS.desktop. I understand the problem of the premisions, so, do I have to open Konqueror as root to delete these MIME asociations for all the users? KDE4: the mimetypes are not in the properties dialog for a .desktop file anymore, on purpose, so this bug cannot happen anymore. However I can see that this is another vote for "removing all associations for one application", like 61582. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 61582 *** |
