OTOH it lets you see the metacontact's status at a glance without having to look at the protocol icon. If you want rid of it, you can use Detailed with Photos contact list style, then you will see photos instead. Metacontacts are always used in Kopete, even when they only contain one contact. I might add a miranda style view mode that never shows metacontact icons when 3.4 is out, but the basic view mode will always show metacontacts icons. |
