Description hardkore 2005-02-10 15:19:36 UTC
Version: 0.15 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
OS: FreeBSD

In the topic display, the ansi codes are shown rather than coloring the text.

In the channel window, the ansi specified background color is not used.

Just a note, the colour sequences used on IRC are not ANSI sequences, although some clients do support them.

This portion is a duplicate of bug #91738. See http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91738

I am not particularily fond of this. I'll support it if this makes it on to KDE's most hated bugs list. :)

Ansi codes shouldn't be shown. They should be stripped. Please give an example test case.
