Description Ryan 2005-01-22 22:50:40 UTC
Version: 0.6 (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-24.10-smp

I moved a menu i menu editor (utilities) and the System menu. Both have now disapeared. I now also have duplicate entries in the multimedia menu.

I don't know how to repproduce it... it just seems to happen randomly.

I looked at applications-kmenuedit.menu and some of the menus still loook like they might be there somehow but there are many repetitions... and I really can't follow the file at all.

I would expect this program to simply reorganize and add/delete items properly.

Bugs of this kind can be tracked down, if you create a dummy user account and use its menu instead of using the important one of your main account. I described this shortly in bug #102723. HTH
