One half of this has already been fixed (as of KDE 3.5.6, Kmail 1.9.6, in Kubuntu Feisty 7.04). I just made some experiments, and: 1. A message body is now displayed without needing to download the attachments (good). 2. However, when replying to a message, its attachments are downloaded before the compose window appears (there is that progress dialog indicating "please wait until the message has finished downloading") (not good). Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding. Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2. |
