Hi, I encountered the same problems as described above. Anyway it doesn't seem to be related to grid snapping or having some taskbars at some edge or side of he screen. I tried it with some combinations of 'grid snapping' and having a taskbar. Actually I can confirm the tendency of icons keeping their positions more likely when 'grid snapping' is switched off. I also encounter the 'slipping under'-problem when creating new icons or moving an existend icon to a new position. Hi, same for me all desktop icons are shuffled after each kde start. I have a "normal" taskbar and nothing else ... And it has nothing to do with grid snapping on or off ... How does the dektop stores the icon positions ??? Any hints to resolve this problem ?? (Using kde 3.3.1 suse rpm's) Fixed for KDE 3.4 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 91575 *** Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained. |
