Description Wojciech Jarosz 2004-10-15 04:03:54 UTC
Version: 3.3.1-1.1.2.kde Red Hat (using KDE 3.3.1-0.2.2.kde, Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-1.521

I just upgraded to kde 3.3.1 and have experienced the following
weirdness in konqueror. When using konq as a file manager, if I switch the view from "Icon view" to "Detailed List view" the bookmark toolbar appears. This had never happened before the upgrade to 3.3.1.

After some more investigation I determined the following pattern can re-create the occurrence on my machine. I have the bookmark toolbar enabled in my web browsing profile, but not in the file management profile. If I first open konq as a web browser, close it, and then open up konq file manager and switch from icon view to detailed list view, the bookmark toolbar appears. I can then go to settings->toolbars and deselect the bookmark toolbar. The bookmark toolbar will no longer unexpectedly pop up in file management mode. That is, until the next time I decide to use konq in the web browser profile, and then the whole process starts over.

I've verified the behavior (on Fedora Core 2)

This bug still exists in SVN.

Can you please fix it? It's the last thing I hate in konqi... ;)

Seems fixed in last SVN (I've just updated kde)

Great work!
