Description wjhns25 2004-10-13 23:16:53 UTC
Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE 3.3.0-5.0.2.kde, Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-1.358

I subsribe to 4 irc chatrooms and 3 jabber groups by default every day. I'd like all these to be grouped into one window, but the tabs are simply too big. I'd like to be able to shorten the tab text or put a maximum limit on it so it truncates down to a certain number of characters. The easiest quick-fix would be to nuke everything from an @ sign and beyond (as an option). Thus things like #net-snmp@irc......net would be shortened to just #net-snmp and jabber rooms like iip@conference.localhost would become just iip.
