Following the recent usability reports, I have this suggestion that might help you guys in future. One comment was about the default settings not being ideal.

How about working in an app that will submit the users app defaults to a server... of course, with the user's consent, and no personal info like IP addresses, email addresses, passwords etc... but more particularly things like word wrap on/off, apps started, running applets etc. etc.

Then you can release future distribs with the most frequently used options already set.
