Description Kevin Yeung 2004-09-20 07:30:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

On KDE 3.3 on SuSE 8.2, my taskbar buttons go missing every now and then and the timing is random. I have konqueror, konsole, eclipse and kwrite open. After minimising/maximising/restoring/switching windows for a while, I may find that konqueror goes missing. Alt-tab won't bring it back.

When it happens, taskbar buttons also won't toggle windows between minimising and restoring. It does nothing.

A way to bring back lost window buttons is right-click taskbar, configure panel..., Taskbar, check/uncheck any of the checkboxes under Taskbar and click OK. The taskbar goes away and comes back, seemingly to have been restarted. However, after a while of using it the same problem comes back.
