This is how I arrange my windows.
These settings are not remembered...
I read this in Bug 78904: From Mantia Andras 2004-05-09 09:53: The treeview position is correctly restored under KWin, so this should be a window manager issue. So I'm closing the bug now. But the problem is not that the new window is not positioned correctly... It does not appear at all. The treeviews ('Files', 'Projects') are docked in the main Quanta window as usual, and appear as tabs in the sidebar. I'm not sure... but this does not seem like a window manager issue to me. This is the way how IDEAl mode behaves... If you want real permanent undocked treeviews, you must switch to some other modes, I suggest Tab Page mode (the old mode used in Quanta 3.2). But as this can be considered a bug, I reassign it to the KMDI library, that provides the MDI interface for Quanta (and other applications). yes, i hate the fact that this doesn't get saved. Will work on it. |
