Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

There are too many toolbars in Konqueror. A good example is the new Search Box, which does not sit in the Location toolbar at all, but in its own. The fact that there has been many bug reports already about how to remove it should be enough evidence that this is not easy enough to use. (I had to look it up in Bugzilla before I could spot the new toolbar in Configure Toolbars.)

The obvious solution to this is to put the Search Box into the Location toolbar, where everybody would think it lives when you first glance at it. A better long term solution would be to clean up the Toolbar Field, perhaps take away the individual Toolbars and just use Configure Toolbar to put every widget where you like it. This may also finally get rid of that toolbars sometimes repositions themselves which there is already bugs filed about.

You should be able to put multiple copies of anything in any toolbar.
I have said this before. Maybe some day it will be implemented.

This Bug also seems to be related in general to the usability problems reported in Bug 83846.
