the problem is, that the greeter will look ugly if the list is much higher than the rest of the dialog. what do you think would be a reasonable maximum number of list items to display? I see the problem. Two solutions come to mind: 1) Let the user make the choice by configuring the number of displayed user images via "Control Center/System Administration/Login Manager/Appearance". 2) Redesign the login dialog so it's not getting ugly when displaying a greater number of user images (see attachment). Even then you could let the user decide if he/she wants the dialog to expand automatically or to stick to an upper limit. Created attachment 7316 [details]
