First of all: The new quicksearch feature is great! A long-time wish of mine :)

A useful use of the quicksearch is searching for dates, for example "24.08.2004" or "08.2004". I would expect this to work even when recent dates are shown as "Today 10:10:58" ("Fancy format").

For my part, I "solved" this by showing all dates as "dd.mm.yyyy", but I think quicksearch should be more intelligent and recognise "Today" as "24.08.2004" and part of "08.2004". My workaround is not intuitive, unless the user understands that the quicksearch searches for whatever is displayed. A less technically-inclined user than me may easily conclude that quicksearch is broken for recent dates.
