Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3-r6, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)

OS: Linux

I would like the ability to export events based on category.

I am using this to track billable hours in which I work. If I work Monday 9-5 then that is 1 event that I would like to eventually be exported.

My desired usage:
At the end of every two weeks, I would like to export all events for that specific category.

Currently, the export grabs all events entered between two dates regardless of category. In this scenario, I get an export of my bills due, my dentist appointment, my friends birthday etc.. :)

It will probably not be directly useful to you, but until your wish is granted, you can use a small python script I partly wrote because I was in a similar situation.
Right now, the script can extract all events of a given category to another icalendar file. For the moment, you can't choose a start date and an end date, but if you really need it I'll probably add it (or you can do it yourself if you know how of course :) )
The script is here : http://gauret.free.fr/fichiers/scripts/python/gauret-calendar.py

Run it with --help to see what's available, it requires python >= 2.3

How can this be a duplicate of 35635? That one is: "Konqueror fails to start/Kmail freezes when running KPPP". Is it a dup of another, or did this wrongly get marked?

Oops, marked it as duplicate of the wrong bug (meant 35631)
