Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

QtAsistant is the trolltech helpcenter for Qtdesigner. These are the most wanted features that QtAssistant has:

- Tabs for the documentation. I'd like to implement the highly featured tab support of Konqueror (new/close buttons, movement and Drag&Dropping of tabs/links to tabs, possibility of showing a X when the mouse is over the tab icon, etc).

- Movable sidebar, as qtassitant one. This is important because, for example, you can move it, close it or make it a (depedent) window so that it doesn't waste space.

- Search ability (see bug #57897)

- Bookmarks (see bug #62925)

This is last wish is not implemented in QtAssistant but in kdevelop, but I must mention it:

- Allow user provided manuals (see bug #21754) and on-line ones (Just as kdevelop allow both of them).

I think that these enhancements would be a big increase khelpcenter user experience!
