I have the same remark. This is a big useability problem: for people who have no idea of how subwindows work such as my mum, it even stops Kooka to be useable. It happened several times that she closed subwindows and when the "Scan" button is not here anymore, it is almost impossible to have it back on the screen. I don't see the point to be able to remove subwindows: what is the use of a Scanning application without the scanning interface? Moreover, the subwindow borders where the closing crosses are, are taking room on the screen for no reason. If one wants to be able to remove some subwindows, it would have to be through a submenu so that is is long to remove subwindows, not to display them again. |
