I know there are things with higher priority, but maybe for someone will take no more than 4 minutes to implement this.. I'd like to use a different notification when new mail comes to a watched thread. I think this makes sense :-P. Thank you kmail developers!

In the folder properties you can uncheck the option "action on new/unread mail". Then no notification is generated when new mail is moved in there.
