Sentry Crash Report:

Description Olivier Fisette 2004-03-14 22:52:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

In the Konqueror File Manager, It is no longer possible to use alphanumeric keys to make the focus jump to a given element. For example, if a directory contains the files gnu.png and linux.png, pressing g or l should select the corresponding file, but it does not.

This seems to be a bug introduced in 3.2.1. It worked in 3.2.0. It affects tree view, list view, info list view and text view, but not icons view or multi-column view.
Comment 1 Sashmit Bhaduri 2004-03-16 08:00:55 UTC
confirmed with 3.2.1
Comment 2 Alejandro Villar 2004-04-24 12:25:05 UTC
Still not fixed for 3.2.2... You may want to have a look at http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45337, too. Maybe a common solution can be found for both...
